À propos de l'événement
Six manuscripts called chansonniers were designed and produced in the Loire Valley around 1470 during the reign of Louis XI. Small in size, richly illuminated, they prove to be collector's items like books of hours for distinguished people. What do they contain beyond their music? Who are they intended for? What is the place and role of their scribes? Probably produced in the enthusiasm of a market of bibliophiles emerging among the body of royal clerics present in Tours, we will present and reveal some remarkable elements which go beyond the function of a simple support intended for musical art.
At the end of the meeting, a cocktail will be served byMr. Sausin, Maistre queux, consultant in historical cuisine, who will introduce you to some flavors of the Middle Ages accompanied by a sage wine.
